Spoke Too Soon

Yeah, I know. I jinxed it. I bragged a few weeks back about how Mya was sleeping so beautifully. Since the beginning of October, not so. Every two to three hours, she's eating voraciously. Which isn't a bad thing - I mean, I have a thriving, growing, healthy baby. I understand how this infant sleeping thing works. I was just so hopeful :)
The thing that amazes me about parenting is how many variables come into play in just the simplest situation. For example, take this sleeping issue, let's consider why she is no longer sleeping so many hours at one time. Is is about her location? Should she be in her own bassinet? Would she do better if we set up her crib in her room downstairs? (Not a good idea because I'm not climbing stairs every 2 hours) Is she in our bed too much? Too little? Is she too hot? Too cold? Going to bed too early? Too late?
Aaargh .... too many possibilities! So, how do we possibly unearth the solution to our dilemma? Put her to bed 30 minutes earlier? An hour later? Wrap her in the light yellow blanket? Use the green one because it's heavier?
The possibilities are endless and the solution may be any one of them or slight variations of all. In fact, the solution might be to simply wait it out until we pass this stage of development.
Who knows? I guess I'm yearning for a clear-cut, black and white solution. Mya is no longer sleeping through the night because ..... and the way to fix this is .....
Alas, parenting is an inexact science. Oh, you know, it might be her teeth too.
