Pretty Girl

Mya is the absolute star whenever she and I go out anywhere together. A simple trip to the post office box takes an additional five or ten minutes to accomodate her admirers. I have to factor "Mya adoration" time into my schedule.
It seems that the instant she hears "pretty girl" she lights up, which in turn lights up the admirer. This morning in a clothing store change room, she heard "pretty girl" from one of the employees and immediately turned to the full length mirror beside her to doublecheck! She was beaming the whole time.
Quite often, I'll be busy getting something from the store shelf and I'll turn back to the cart and Mya will be in conversation with someone. Today it happened at the counter when I was signing for my purchases.
Most often, people comment on her eyes and they are, in fact, her sweetest feature. Right now, they are the most unusual color - blue, grey, hazel, golden, brown. But, I think her eyes draw everyone's attention because it is from them that her spirit shines through. I can see our upcoming two week trip to Canada may not be long enough to fit in all her fans!
