Another month, another host of developments. It is absolutely remarkable to watch our little girl grow and change before our eyes. Some of the developments below have been mentioned before, but I like to summarize them all in one place on Mya's birthdays.
- Sitting up unassisted all the time now and very rarely tumbles.
- Schooching backwards long distances now. She made it all the way into the hallway from Lucas's room the other day.
- Making the "d" sound and often saying "adee" along with "Momma" and the b sound too.
- blowing raspberries
- clapping with conscious effort. The reason I know it's conscious is because she intently watches her hands when they come together.
- waves when waved to
- eating fruit and sweet potato puffs (melt in your mouth) and Cheerios
- constantly nodding her head "no"
- adoring all of the attention she receives. This morning at Mcdonalds, people had their backs to her and she gave a big yell to get them to turn around. She seems especially interested in men (not a good omen for her teenage years).
- smacks her hand in reply to your smacking sounds.
- eating two meals a day of solids
-sleeping SO MUCH better! She wakes every 3 or 4 hours now instead of every 1 or 2 which she had been doing over Christmas and with her ear infections.
- Whoopee! Mya signed for the first time. I've been showing her the sign for "eat" when we eat our solid meals for several weeks now and tonight she and Daddy were having an exchange and she repeatedly showed him the sign for "eat". Wow!
