Yep, today was the day. This morning Mya took two series of 6-7 steps. On the second walk, she looked down at her feet, up at me, and with eyes as big as saucers, she beamed. She knew she was walking.
Since then, she's taken a step here and there all day long. I imagine this is the beginning. She's able to get to a standing position now without pulling up on anything. Also, her descent is no longer a thud or a plop but a gradual lowering to the ground. She seems quite steady, so I hope the bonks and bops will be held to a minimum. Yah Mya!!
