Happy Birthday My Love. You are now officially one year old and you seem to be reveling in your status as "special girl". We had a whole birthday week last week with lots of cake, parties and presents. It started with a birthday breakfast since opening presents just couldn't wait until later in the day. The four of us shared muffins with candles after the presents were shuffled. That same day, your friend Maria came out for a mini-party with cupcakes and candles. Then, the next day, we had a special play group gathering that celebrated everyone's summer birthdays. Sarah, Sally, Mommy, Lucas, Arthur, Reynolds, Walker and you all celebrate birthdays from May to August!
Your gifts are already well-used and much appreciated. You received shoes, handbags, books, clothes, a music player, princess lego and more. It is so sweet to see you wandering around with your hand in the air to ensure your purse stays on your shoulder.
All in all, you seem to have firmly made the transition from infant to toddler, from baby to little girl, from one who is measured in years instead of months. You are so special and loved little one - Happy Birthday!
