On Monday, we do a test run and travel to Nashville and back to get Auntie Ellen, Liam and Alec from the plane. Then, Thursday we begin our road trip - Gurley to Panama City, Florida. After a day at the beach we journey on to Orlando and Disney World. After Disney we head north to Tybee Island near Savannah. Another day on the beach and home. The final leg will be the longest. Mapquest says over 7 hours, but with a van full of 7 people I anticipate it to be a much, much longer trip.
I'm hoping that all of the 30 minutes trips we take in and out of Huntsville will make her an experienced traveller. Lucas had driven back and forth to Texas a couple of times by the time he was Mya's age, but Mya has never really taken a long trip in the car. In fact, I think the only time we've ever driven anywhere with her over an hour was in Canada at Christmas. Come to think of it, those trips didn't go so well. Oh oh.
