Even though Mya's sleep patterns still leave much to be desired, she has crafted some serious rituals around sleep. Each time we approach sleep, she is adamant that the same path be traveled.
It starts with the boppy, the "binkie" (blanket) and her soother. She only has soothers/pacifiers in her bed. If her door is open, she has to close it.
Perhaps her strangest inclusion is her latest. These days, she is frantic about having a book in her hands too. I find it odd that she is so intense about cuddling up to something so cold and pokey, but to each their own I guess.
Now that we have to go through this involved process, I am just hoping the final stage is the addition of a long, sweet, uninterrupted sleep!
