I don't need to tell you she's a genius do I? I am completely biased when I say that Mya is waaaaaaay ahead of her level. In fact, as I type she is demanding I listen to her read a book.
She is, indeed, reading many words, writing all letters (only 's' gives her some grief) and understanding all her sounds.
Her first report card today confirms it for me - she is a most excellent student. "S" on almost everything meaning Satisfactory (successfully completed skill). She can count to 100, recognize basic colors, speak clearly and so on.
She still needs to learn her complete address (but I'm not going to stress that too much since we might move soon). Can't tie her shoes (who can in the age of velcro?) and is progressing toward the completion of the skill of skipping.
I find the skipping one hard to believe - she skips almost 100% of her day. Without a hint of exaggeration she skips almost everywhere we go. The only thing I can think of is that her skip tends toward a gallop and maybe there's some special technique involved to meet the stringent definition of "skip".
Way to go Mya, however you travel!
