Canada

Mya's Canadian citizenship card arrived last week and I'm so relieved!  What threatened to be a over a year-long process was actually complete in 5 months.  I had learned that, should we return to Canada to live, even though Mya is a Canadian by virtue of her being born to two Canadian parents, she wouldn't be eligible to enroll in school or receive healthcare without the card.

Shortly after the card came, Mya, Craig and I were discussing our future and Mya said she would choose to live in Canada and when we asked why, she gave two great reasons.

"There are lots of people there I love."

"The Government said I could be a member."  :)
