"Schooching" is defined (by yours truly) as the pre-crawling activity of babies that includes slithering, sliding and spinning while on their tummies. You would think placing a baby on her tummy wouldn't involve any real travelling, but Mya is an excellent schoocher and can cover ground with ease.
Unlike many babies I hear about, Mya actually spends a lot of content moments on her tummy now. She is reaching for things just out of reach and seems scarily capable of getting herself schooched over close to sharp edges!
She can lift her entire top body up off the floor with her arms and then she flops down and can get up on her knees too. One day soon she is going to coordinate both efforts and "zoom" everything will change.
