All is well and Mya was a darling at her Dr's appointment yesterday. She's got a new "cafe au lait" spot on her calf, which is perfectly normal. Our Dr informed her that she will indeed get hair someday :) and "that is one beautiful ear", Dr Susan announced when she checked for any signs of infection. Maybe Mya's ears hurt her when her teeth are bothering her because she continues to tug on them once in a while. Thankfully, no infection.
She had her big toe pricked to check her iron levels which were great - 11.5 when 10.7 is what they look for. As always, she got measured and weighed;
Weight - 20 lbs 11 oz (internet research shows this to be in the 75th percentile)
Height - 29 5/8 inches (above the 100th)
Head circumference - 47.2 cm
Her first top tooth popped through this morning and her gums are just white in other places so I expect quite a few more soon. She's braving the discomfort really well and her sleeping is blissful! Once I figured out that my chocolate consumption was affecting her, she's been sleeping from 8am to at least 4 am and then back until 6 or 7am. Sooooo sweet to sleep again!
