I hope I don't traumatize her, but Mya just got her first haircut and I'm the one who gave it to her. Maybe it will come up in therapy one day :) All it involved was three little snips to create a bit of a bang. Her hair has become so fly-away that it is constantly in her face. Winter is, of course, not the best time of year for anyone's hair. Especially if that someone wears hoods and toques (winter hats for translation from Canadian).
I toyed with going to a shop, but it seemed so crazy for what amounted to three snips of the scissors. Generally, her curly hair needs to grow longer to get some weight. The weight will help with her curls so she certainly wasn't ready for an allover haircut.
