The Year Mya was 2

You know how you can't remember from one year to the next exactly what you did for special occasions? Was that the year we ....? or was it when we ....?

For future reference, in the year that Mya was 2, Christmas 2008 was an Alabama Christmas. We spent it in our Keel Mtn log home, just the four of us. Daddy was off for two full weeks around the holidays so that made things extra fun.

We toured the Children's Museum just before Christmas, we hit the stores, we made shortbread. Mya got a whole backpack of art supplies (even though there are still two days until Christmas, I don't think a spoiler alert is needed here since she's only two). She got a new princess bed set. She got pots and pans and kitchen things. She got clothes, books and hair accessories. She received many, many wonderful things!
