No, no, no

Mya woke up one morning this week suddenly using the words "no, no, no" for almost everything. Like a light switch she was now declaring her opposition or displeasure in triplicate. Like once wasn't enough!

Today I was taking special notice of how many ways she has to express her oppositional position. "That's not okay!" is a great one. She yells this if someone or something isn't going her way. Then, there's one she has borrowed from me - "That's not fair." I was whining this very statement the other morning to Craig as I had to get dragged out of bed to make breakfast. It seemed that Daddy wouldn't do and only Mommy had to get out of bed. Since then, I've heard this echo two or three times.

Today, a new one developed again - No Way! A little evil part of me wants to experiment with her and see how many negative responses I can plant in her little (but oh so bright) brain. What's left? Absolutely not! Negative! By No Means! Nay! Unacceptable! Any others? I think I will try one out tomorrow and see if she latches onto a fresh way of being a two (almost 3) year old.
