What I'm Going to Be When I Grow Up

Yesterday was a day for Mya to ponder her future.

Leafing through a Dora book about "What Will I Be?", Mya settled on the Dora doctor picture.  "I'm going to be an everything Doctor so I can help people".

Later at a store, the clerk asked Mya if she liked princesses.  "I'm going to be a Princess when I grow up," Mya clarified.  "Oh, can I be your friend when you're a princess?" asked the clerk.  Mya thought for a minute and said "Maaaybeeee".  She didn't sound too accepting of hangers-on.

I found the last one a little alarming for several reasons.  Just to prove Mya is not immune to the mighty marketing machine, she also declared in the store that "I might be Hannah Montana when I grow up."  Yipes!
