For quite some time, Mya has been reading words here and there. When she read the word "give" on a box the other day, I got complete confirmation she can read. We hadn't been talking about the word, I had never read that word to her off of that box, nor have I read that word anywhere else recently.
Today, when she read the "no signal" message on the tv screen, she wondered aloud if she is no longer 3 1/2 now. I replied that she is in fact still 3 1/2 and I kept to myself that sometimes I wonder if she is actually 6 or 7!
