My Texas Trip

I've only been on a plane one other time and I was only 5 months old so I don't remember a thing. I've decided that I like airplanes. Okay, maybe not so much the initial ascent when I was screaming my head off. I think those things that Mommy calls "ears" were hurting me. Once things leveled off, I felt fine. I'm sure that I had everyone on the plane going. I bet they were cringing and thinking that I was going to go on for the whole hour and twenty minutes. Just wanted to keep them all on their toes (devilish grin). I quickly moved on to my adorable cuteness and assured them I wasn't going to be a problem.
I fell asleep just before the descent so my ears weren't bothered a bit that time. I thought it would be good for Mommy to fall asleep just before we had to leave the plane again. She's already figured out that at least a little sleep is better than no sleep. In fact, I'm learning how to operate on less and less during the day. Must be because I'm such a pro now at night time sleeping. (Except for those two nights at Uncle Ross' where Mommy was hogging the covers and giving me grief). If I'm not locked in, I like to roam at night.
My favorite part of the trip was definitely the swimming. Uncle Ross has this massive community pool that was so posh my head was spinning. I simply couldn't decide which of the five pools I wanted to visit. They surely do things up big in Texas.
Everyone was really nice to me too. Yvonne, Diane and their Mommy kept talking to me, squeezing me and getting down to my level. I like that in a friend. I played hard with that boy Leo's toys and I had a blast with Daddy and Lucas at the indoor playground while Mommy visited with that nice lady who gave me a bear.
All in all, I have to say that Mommy and Daddy behaved beautifully this trip. It was a resounding success and I'm going to recommend another weekend jaunt again soon.
